About Us 

By the grace of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the atoning work of Christ at Calvary, Stanford E. Murrell was converted at an early age. From his youth Stan sensed a call to preach the gospel and made his first attempt at the age of 14 at the Gospel Rescue Mission in Dallas, Texas. By the age of 15 he was licensed to preach by the Coliseum Place Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In June, 1972, after being graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas, he entered the U.S. Army to serve as a Chaplain's Assistant. Following three years of active duty, he attended Ft. Hays State University in Hays, Kansas where he received a teaching degree in secondary education majoring in history.

During his years in college, Stan was the pastor of a rural church in Mankato, Kansas where he met and married the former Marta Leonard. They have two children and five grandchildren. Their son Adam is currently serving as an Officer in the US Navy. He and his wife Laura have three children. Their daughter Tara is a registered nurse and married to a surgeon. Together, they have two children.

Stan has been awarded a B.A. and an M.A. in History from Ft. Hays State University, Hays, Kansas, and a M. Div. and Th.D. from Trinity Theological Seminary.

He is the author of The Most Glorious Institution: The Church in History (2 Vols.) and A New Covenant in Christ: A Survey of the New Testament published by Mt. Zion Ministries in Pensacola, FL. Other works include The Sovereign Grace New Testament and The Great Tribulation: A Historical Reality.

Stan has also been a Christian schoolteacher, a Christian school administrator of three works in Arkansas and Pennsylvania and the pastor of several churches over a thirty-two year period of public ministry. He now resides in Viera, Florida. Currently, Dr. Murrell travels the world to preach the doctrines of God's sovereign and saving grace. His ministry has taken him to more than twelve foreign nations.
